Municipal Recycling 50% Target of Waste Stream

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Solid Waste, has marked the 30th anniversary of the enactment of the NJ Statewide Mandatory Source Separation and Recycling Act by establishing a goal of recycling 50 percent of our municipal waste stream. Haddon Heights, like all other municipalities in New Jersey, was tasked to update their Recycling Programs to ensure that all residential and commercial property owners are aware of the requirement to recycle.  I remind you that you must recycle all items listed in Chapter 393 of the Borough Code.  The code is accessible online at www.haddonhts.com and ask that you commit your household or business to pay special attention to your waste stream and that all acceptable items are recycled weekly.  Should you have any questions, please reach out to me at @ 856-546-2580.  I appreciate your anticipated cooperation in assisting Haddon Heights in meeting our goal.
