Animal Licensing Information

If you are coming in to get a new pet license or to renew a license, please bring the following:

  • Completed Animal License Application
  • Current proof of your pet’s rabies vaccination
  • Animal License Application fee (cash, check or credit card)

Animal License Application

Fill out our Animal License Application (see downloadable form below). To avoid a late fee ($10.00), you must obtain your animal license on or before June 30th of the current year. Please note that if you have a new pet, then the late fee will be waived. If you are renewing your animal license by mail, please fill in the application and send it to us along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope. We will return the tag and license at our earliest convenience.

Rabies vaccination must be good THROUGH NOVEMBER 1 of the current year for us to be able to issue the license.

Due to a state regulation, we will be unable to issue an animal license if the vaccination expires before November 1 of the current year. We recommend contacting your vet if you have questions about changing the timing of your pet’s vaccination.

Animal License Application Fees

Please see the corresponding application fees below, and make checks payable to "BOROUGH OF HADDON HEIGHTS."

Dogs  and  Cats

$10.00 Neutered/Spayed
