THE BOROUGH OF HADDON HEIGHTS FIRE DEPARTMENT is seeking qualified candidate(s) to fill the positions of Fire Official & Fire Inspector. Candidates for the position of Fire Inspector must have successfully completed an educational program approved by the Division of Fire Safety pursuant to N.J.A.C. 5:71-9. Candidates for the position of Fire Official must hold a valid certification as Fire Inspector issued by the Division of Fire Safety and will have successfully completed an educational program pursuant to N.J.A.C. 5:71-4.9. All applicants shall provide documentation indicating the successful completion of an examination as required by N.J.A.C. 5:71-4.10. Only test results passed within three years prior to, or at the time of application will be accepted toward fulfulling the requirements for certification. These positions are part time, salaried with flexible hours. No additional benefits will be afforded.

THE BOROUGH OF HADDON HEIGHTS SEEKS A PROGRAM COORDINATOR Program Coordinator will research, coordinate and evaluate programs to be held in the Community Center and Cabin. This position includes planning of fitness, adult education and teen/family programs as well as supervising instructors. Position requires maintaining office hours at the Community Center. This is a part-time position totaling 15 hours per week. Degree in Recreation, Communications, or Marketing a plus; community organization or service sector experience necessary. Applicant must have high proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Successful candidate will have strong organization and communication skills as well as be a motivated self-starter.
