TEMPORARY SEASONAL LABORER

THE BOROUGH OF HADDON HEIGHTS is seeking temporary/seasonal labor.  Applicants must be a minimum 18 years of age.  Duties include general labor, landscaping, painting, hauling, lifting, street patching, sewer (sanitary and storm), operation of equipment and other various public works projects as assigned.  Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 

Rate of pay is $12 per hour.  Hours are Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3 pm., excluding lunch, 37 ½ hours.  No benefits are afforded with this position.  All candidates must possess a valid NJ Driver’s License and are subject to random drug/alcohol testing, a physical and a criminal background check.  Interested candidates should complete a Haddon Heights Employment Application HERE or from our office located at 625 Station Avenue, Haddon Heights, NJ.  Deadline for submission is Wednesday, October 3, 2018 with a start date of Monday, October 15, 2018.  The Borough reserves the right to begin interviewing prior to the deadline.

SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

THE BOROUGH OF HADDON HEIGHTS, CAMDEN COUNTY, seeks a full-time Certified Public Works Manager with a certification from the Center for Government Services, a high school graduate or equivalent diploma and hold the State of New Jersey Municipal Recycling Coordinator certification.  A valid NJ Driver’s License and CDL, Class A and B are required.  Qualified candidate will be an experienced professional with strong leadership skills, have technical knowledge of budgets, capital planning as well as possess excellent administrative and organizational skills to manage all facets of the Department of Public Works.  Position entails directing all aspects public works including but not limited to daily work orders, personnel management, public buildings and grounds maintenance, fleet management, snow removal, roads and drainage maintenance and trash and recycling collection. CLASS INSTRUCTORS FOR YOUTH, ADULT AND SENIOR CLASSES

Do you have a special skill, hobby or talent that you would like to share with others in an instructional setting? The Borough of Haddon Heights Program Department is seeking instructors for new and existing youth and adult education programs/workshops.  Each season, the borough runs a variety of courses in fitness, art, crafts and enrichment subjects for residents of all ages.  Courses are held at your Community Center and Cabin facilities.  Please submit your resume, cover letter and/or course proposal to:
