Station Avenue (CR 656)  Pedestrian Safety Improvements – Phase II

Camden County will begin an improvement project tentatively on Thursday, November 2, 2023. The project will take place Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Station Avenue at West Atlantic and East Atlantic Aves.

The projected timeline is approximately 135 Calendar Days (Weather Permitting).

The underground stormwater improvements phase will take approximately one (1) week to complete. 

Please use alternate routes of travel that parallel Station Avenue such as Kings Hwy, Highland/Clements Bridge Road, Princeton Rd., E. Vassar Rd., Chestnut St., E. Pine St.

The following traffic control procedures will be implemented:

• From 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM, a one-way detour will be implemented. Only Station Avenue traffic coming from the west side of town heading towards the White Horse Pike will be permitted through the intersection. All other traffic will be detoured around the work area.
• At approximately 8:30 AM the entire intersection will be closed to all traffic until the end of work at approximately 5:00 PM. All traffic will be detoured around the work area.
