The Office of the Borough Clerk keeps official Borough records, issues licenses and dispenses voter registration forms.
Voter registration forms are available in the Office of the Municipal Clerk at the Borough Hall. They can also be obtained on our website under “Forms”. Once you are registered, you will automatically receive a sample ballot for each election. Your voting district number will appear on the mailing label above your name and address. The back of the sample ballot lists the 7 voting districts and the voting hours making it convenient for you to find your voting location.
Effective immediately, you now have the opportunity to vote by mail for all elections. Vote by Mail has replaced Absentee Voting in the State of New Jersey. You would simply have to complete a form and mail it to the County Clerk and all future sample ballots for the November elections will be mailed directly to your home address unless you request otherwise. You can also select an option to have ballots for all elections to be held during the remainder of the calendar year. Any registered voter may Vote By Mail. Application to Vote By Mail must be received by the County seven (7) days prior to the election. You can also apply in person to the County Clerk’s Office up until 3:00pm the day before the election. The forms are available in the Borough Clerk’s Office or the Haddon Heights Public Library.
The Borough Clerk’s Office also handles requests for information, permits and vital records, including marriage, birth and death certificates.
This office processes requests for certified copies of vital records of events that occurred in the Borough of Haddon Heights. Please complete and send the Application a Copy of a Vital Record and $10.00 for each certified copy requested to:

For marriage license applications, please call (856) 547-7164, ext. 21 to set up an appointment. At the time of the appointment, the bride, groom and one witness over the age of 18 that knows both the bride and groom must be present to complete the marriage license application. Two forms of I.D. are required. A fee of $28 is due at time of application. Payment can be cash or check payable to the Borough of Haddon Heights.
