Grand Marshall

https://chop.donordrive.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.team&teamID=...

Our Parade Grand Marshall is Maddy Lappin.

Maddy was diagnosed with a rare form of liver cancer in early October 2022, after a stomach bug sent her to the ER.  A few long and painful days after discovering a large mass in her belly, we had a diagnosis and Maddy started chemotherapy within that same week.  We always felt that CHOP made Maddy's care a priority and they didn't waste a single moment before beginning her treatment.  Despite the uncertainty and fear we experienced, we knew that Maddy was at the best children's hospital and under the best care.  How lucky were we to be a 20 minute drive from CHOP?  We are so thankful for the excellent medical and supportive care that Maddy received and we want to do anything and everything we can to help CHOP provide that same level of care for other children and their famlies.  Please help support our efforts and make a donation of whatever you can.  Additionally, we would love to have you walk with Team Teal: Made of Steel on September 24th!  We helped Maddy come up with this name because of her amazing strength and love for the color teal.

MAKE AN IMMEDIATE IMPACT TODAY: 100% of every donation to the 2022 Parkway Run & Walk, presented by Citadel, will help CHOP make important breakthroughs in understanding the causes of childhood cancer, developing new treatments that will improve outcomes for children, and one day may lead to a cure for childhood cancer.

Parade Rain Date!

While we have our fingers crossed and are hoping for beautiful weather, we know that sometimes Mother Nature is not on the same page, so if there is rain and the parade is postponed, we will hold the festivities on Wednesday, JULY 5th -- all of the times will remain the same.
