SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
THE BOROUGH OF HADDON HEIGHTS, Camden County, seeks a full-time Certified Public Works Manager with a certification from the Center for Government Services as well as be a high school graduate or have an equivalent diploma and hold the Municipal Recycling Coordinator certification. A valid NJ Driver’s License and CDL, Class A and B are required. Qualified candidate will be an experienced professional with strong leadership skills, have technical knowledge of budgets, capital planning as well as possess excellent administrative and organizational skills to manage all facets of the Department of Public Works. Position entails directing all aspects public works including but not limited to daily work orders, personnel management, public buildings and grounds maintenance, fleet management, snow removal, roads and drainage maintenance and trash and recycling collection. Successful candidates will have at least five years of experience working in the public sector, be proficient in Microsoft Office, be a United States citizen, and be a person of good moral character.
