Pedestrian Improvements Coming to Station Avenue at East and West Atlantic Avenues

Mayor and Borough Council have been working with the Camden County Freeholder Board to bring pedestrian improvements to Station Avenue at East and West Atlantic Avenues. The Borough has worked with the County’s Department of Public Works and County Engineer’s office to develop a plan to enhance the pedestrian crossings at this six leg intersection.  These enhancements include additional pedestrian crossing signage, high visibility crosswalks, and high visibility stamped synthetic pavement transitions from handicap ramps to crosswalks. Conceptual plan and views of the new improvements: CONCEPT PLAN FOR STATION AND ATLANTICS CONCEPT VIEWS FOR STATION AND ATLANTICS Detailed engineering design drawings are on file with the Borough Clerk.
