Bowl the Night Away! Sat., Feb. 24th

Saturday, February 24 from 5 – 8 pm. The Big Event, 1536 N Kings Hwy, Cherry Hill  Haddon Heights Police and Fire Departments square off again to raise money for charity (in addition to a full year of braggin’ rights)! Get your challenger team together now! The average score of the winning team raises $1/pin for their favorite local charity. Cost is $25/person and includes one hour for food and unlimited soft drinks, two hours bowling and shoe rental. We have a 10-lane limit, so please sign up by February 10. Tickets for this HHBPA networking event can be purchased at the Village Cheese Shop.  Come Bowl the Night Away!

Senior Citizen Dinner for Haddon Heights’ Residents – Wed., March 14th

On Wednesday, March 14th the Haddon Heights Public Schools’ sixth grade students will sponsor a free dinner for Haddon Heights’ Senior Citizens. This will be held at our high school cafeteria located on First Avenue and Garden Street beginning at 5:00PM. This event is open to any Haddon Heights’ resident who is 62 years of age or older. Transportation will be provided for those who do not drive. The bus will pick up outside of the Town Library at 4:30PM and at Stanfill Towers at 4:40PM. Please RSVP to Lauren Orfe at 547-7647. Love Your Library Month

February is “Love Your Library” month and the Haddon Heights Library is always trying to give residents many reasons to love them. Downloadable e-books, museum passes, Blu-Rays, DVD’s, children’s programming, special events, notary service and high-speed internet are several of the many services and products available from the library. The library has provided all of this and more to try and offer our patrons the services and materials that they deserve. We are very proud of all our offerings, but we recognize the help the residents give us each year through donations to help make them possible. The Haddon Heights Police Department is in need of Crossing Guards. If you’re in good health, enjoy being out doors and spending time helping children you may be qualified. Interested applicants should apply at the: Haddon Heights Police Department 625 Station Avenue Haddon Heights, NJ 08035 Please call 856-547-0614 ext. 10 if you have any questions. Crossing Guards typically start part time and move to a permanent position when a post becomes available.    .
